Belgrade, Serbia is CALLING FOR PARTNERS for Training Course, proposed under Action 3.1 of the Youth in Action Programme GENDER GAME

From 2 to 11 October 2011 in Belgrade, Serbia

Training Course for young people that are facing discrimination and social exclusion because of their gender and sexual orientation

Host organization: Queeria - Center for promoting culture of nonviolence and equality.

Queeria - Center for promoting culture of nonviolence and equality is one of the most visible LGBT organization in Serbia and organizer of first Belgrade's successful Pride parade in 2010.

In 2000, Queeria Working Group was formed within the Social-Democrat Union. After several projects, weakly supported by the party, had been realized in the period 2001-2005, the activists decided to register Queeria Center as an independent, non-governmental and non-profit organization.

The first LGBT on line magazine was formed (queeria.com, today gayecho.com). Our organization participated in numerous activities of other organizations, particularly feminist and youth ones.

Queeria Center has -in collaboration with experts from various fields: psychology, team building, public relations, marketing, media and human rights - established programs and projects related to creating a friendly atmosphere towards LGBT people. We create campaigns that are supported by public figures, thus promoting LGBT rights and other issues related to LGBT people in Serbia in a positive way.
